*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 10/08/2022
Love books? Have an interest in art? Make your own unique, origami 'dragon book' in this family-friendly workshop! Origami is the Japanese traditional art of folding paper into different aesthetic designs like cranes, frogs, masu boxes and more! View traditional and contemporary origami artworks in the Castellani Art Museum exhibition 'Cut, Fold, Roll', and then learn how to fold your own dragon-chain book, which can make a perfect notepad for on-the-go writing, a sketchpad for comics, or a pocket book of poetry. This workshop is geared towards families, though all are welcome to attend, ages 8 and up. $10 per non-member participant. Free for museum members and EBT. CAM Members and EBT enrollees, please call 716.286.8201 for the discount code.
