APPLES!! Picking, Crushing, Pressing, Drinking

Upon arrival at the Reindeer Farm, folks will have a short wagon ride out to the apple trees where they will pick some "cider" apples. A wagon ride back to the open barn brings them to an old apple mill. Attendees will be able to turn the handle to crush the apples and then turn the crank to press the cider from the apples. Once the cider has drained from the mill, you will be able to drink the freshest cider ever. With the pulp that is left over (pomace) you will be able to feed some to the reindeer and some to the chickens. Bring a small container (water bottle?) with you to take some cider home. Reinvention Brewery will be there for beer tastings for the adult folk. Kids 5 and under are free, everyone else is $10. Pre-Registration is required at www.shortsvillereindeer.com/visit.
