2021 Summer Nature Camp at Beaver Meadow

6 weeks of Summer Fun at Beaver Meadow Audubon Center starting July 12th for kids who have completed grades K-8!

SIX WEEKS OF SUMMER FUN!

EXPLORERS
For students who have completed K, 1st and 2nd grades
9am-3pm Monday - Friday
Fee: $225 Member Fee: $202.50
Do you want to be a real nature explorer? Discover the fields, forests and wetlands of Beaver Meadow and the plants and animals who live there! Live animals, stories, games, crafts, canoeing the beaver pond and hands-on discoveries of all kinds will be part of the daily fun!

Fee: $225 Member Fee: $202.50

Outdoor adventures are key to being a summer wild child! Adventurers will work together to define their daily experience! Live animals, games, shelter building, hikes, and canoeing the beaver pond will round out the week!

Every day is a new journey in the outdoors during our Expeditioners camp! We'll take a deeper dive into the science of our explored topics and go on longer expeditions throughout Beaver Meadow!

Let’s take a deeper dive into the world of birds! Avian Expeditioners will learn the ins and outs of the science of ornithology. Binocular boot camp (each camper will receive their own pair of Vortex binoculars – a $130 retail value), use of field guides, bird banding, and learning how to use eBird will all be part of the fun!

For students who have completed 6th, 7th and 8th grades

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM (CIT)
For individuals 16 years of age or older who want to learn more about becoming a Beaver Meadow Camp Counselor. Volunteer as a camp counselor in training and develop skills for working with children in nature. For more information, please send an email to tom@buffaloaudubon.org
