Kids Miracle Making ClubBenefiting Strong Kids at Golisano Children's HospitalThe Kids Miracle Making Club is a club for kids ages 5 – 12 whose purpose club is to help Strong Kids at the Golisano Children’s Hospital. Managed by kids, the club helps raise raise funds for the hospital, and makes other kids aware of all the great things GCHaS is doing to help kids in need. KMMClub fund raising and awareness is accomplished through such events as the Annual Smiling Pumpkin Halloween Party and by hosting events at various community festivals. Periodic club meetings and the Kids Miracle Talk forum provide the environment for future fund raising ideas and awareness opportunities. The kids get to share their ideas, show their talents and have a lot of fun while focusing on a very good cause. Club members learn how to run a business through club management and career seminars offered by adult volunteers (our Miracle Helpers) from a variety of business professions. When applying to become a club member, all candidates are asked to read and understand the purpose of the club while committing to support the club throughout their membership (parents do so, as well, before their child can become a member). This support ranges from organizing their own event under the KMMClub umbrella, to simply participating in the events. When accepted, each member is granted club benefits, including access to the Kids Miracle Talk forum and their own KMMClub email account. KMMClub has an excellent relationship with the Golisano Children’s Hospital staff; we received approval from the Children's Hospital for use of the club’s name and the mascot "Sandy Strong" for the KMMClub logo. The club started in August 2007. If you have any questions, you can email us at steve@kidsmiraclemakingclub.com or contact our hotline at 585-738-4315.
