Home schooling is a viable educational option for our children, but knowing how to start can seem intimidating. Patricia Welch has spent over twenty years at the forefront of the home schooling movement. As a pioneering parent and concerned citizen, Mrs. Welch was part of a delegation to Albany in the Mid 1980's that was responsible for drafting legislation that continues to govern home schooling in New York State. Her experience includes teaching three children from grades K-12. Mrs. Welch has written interdisciplinary, thematic curriculum units and has conducted several parenting workshops in the local area.
