Have fun with your food! Expanded nutrition and food-themed kid’s hands-on programming will take place on the third Saturday in the Family Garden and at stations throughout the Gardens between 10am-2pm. While activities are best aligned for children ages 4-10, caregivers of our youngest learners are encouraged to assist with creations! Included with paid Gardens admission/Membership! The Wonderful World of Fruit - February 21Come learn about different types of fruit, how they grow, and why they are so good for us! See some fruity highlights from the Gardens’ collection and enjoy some fresh fruit juice at our fabulous fruit squeeze. Then, create some fun fruit crafts, including paper plate apple cores, tissue paper strawberries, and painted fruit stamps.
