Party on the Portico

At each Party on the Portico, guests enjoy upbeat live music, free appetizers, cash bar, free 15-minute mini-tours of the History Museum, door prize drawings, and great views of Mirror Lake, Delaware Park and the Japanese Garden—all from the portico and steps of the iconic museum.
The series, which runs through the summer on the third Friday in June, July, August, and September. The popular party features some of Western New York’s most popular musical acts.
For each Party on the Portico event; Museum members receive a 50% discount. The series runs rain or shine and is exclusively for guests ages 21 and over.
Tickets are available at the Museum during open hours or by phone (716-873-9644) or they can be purchased at the door - $5 members/$10 general admission. All proceeds benefit The Buffalo History Museum.
** Returning this year: Purchase a pass for all 4 parties for $15 members/ $30 general. Series pass is available until June 14th. **
During the event additional parking is provided by McKinley High School - across the street and approximately one block north of the Museum. We provide some seating; however, guests may bring their own lawn chairs. Service animals only.
