MAY 30 - JUNE 2: I Spy
Our little campers will be going on a top secret mission to find clues that will unlock the hidden treasures of Western New York. These small-but-mighty super sleuths will make decoders, lead investigations, and discover that we all have unique fingerprints. Using our 5 senses we will collect evidence and answer questions like, “Why does our city smell like Cheerios?” Through science, maps, and tons of fun, our secret agents will navigate their way around our version of the Buffalo Niagara region. Never fear! The Eastern Hills Secret Agents are on the case!
JUNE 5 - JUNE 9: Superheroes
Up, Up and away!!! Our little campers will learn what super powers they will need to stand for truth and justice. This little action squad will start the week at headquarters completing Super Hero Training. They will create their own super hero cuffs and shields. We will learn how everyone can be an everyday hero. Then it’s out and about in The City of Good Neighbors, where our heroes will put their vow to protect and to serve into action!
JUNE 12 - JUNE 16: Things That Go
Beep, Beep! Vroom, Vroom! We’ll take off by land, air or water and explore all the ways we get around. From the Buffalo Airport to the Erie Basin Marina, there are many ways to get from here to there. Our campers will have a sailboat regatta on the Niagara River Run, race their own vehicles on the Eastern Hills Speedway, learn the rules of the road, and discover different types of energy (wind, gas, magnets, etc.). Don’t forget to swing by Delta Sonic for a Super Kiss car wash!
JUNE 19 - JUNE 23: A Taste of Buffalo
This week long celebration is going to be SWEET! Our Campers will get “a taste” of some of the most unique and fun parts of our Western New York culture. They’ll create one of a kind art projects for our version of the Allentown Art Festival. And…who doesn’t love a parade? We’ll explore sound and make one-of-kind-instruments that will fill the streets with music. We’ll celebrate our hometown teams, and whip up some food experiments. Have you ever tried loganberry juice? Taste and see how good it is to be a Western New Yorker
Each of the four weeks we will turn Wednesdays into a wet and wild water adventure! Water walls, water sensory experiences, slip and slides, kiddie wash, in-water experiments, Wednesdays soaked in summer fun!
