Boots and Spurs: Girl Scout Resident Camp

Would you like to learn about one of the newer sports in horseback riding? Saddle up and spend your days learning the fundamentals of Western riding and how to apply it to your first dressage test. Girls will go on trial rides and also learn stable management including basic barn chores, grooming, cleaning of the stalls, and feeding. Girls will receive lessons based on their riding ability and will complete a dressage test at the end of the camp week. Girls will also learn what a judge would be looking for during their test in order to get the most points, and what the different rules are in the sport.
Camp runs July 15 to 20. For girls in grades 7-12 in fall 2018. Fee is $405 per girl. Registration closes July 2. Register here: http://bit.ly/2IrBAKT. Financial aid is available.
