In their distinguishing white helmets, The Band of the Royal Marines is known for their musicianship, visual grandeur and precision drill and they have become quite popular on the concert stage. As enlisted service men and women, members of the band have been deployed on active duty in all major conflicts of the last century.

The sound of the pipes has long instilled a great sense of pride and passion which has both inspired Scottish soldiers in the heat of battle and driven fear into the enemy. The precise drums, haunting bagpipes and spirited dancers of the Royal Scots add another exciting and awe-inspiring dimension to the program.

A consistent favorite of Center for the Arts audiences, previous visits by other military bands have played to packed crowds and standing ovations. The groups also traditionally pay tribute to the branches of the U.S. military during their performance.
