24th Annual Native American Dance & Music Festival at Ganondagan

Come celebrate our signature event, the 24th annual Native American Dance & Music Festival, Saturday-Sunday, July 25-26, 2015, 10am - 6pm. Nowhere else in the area can you experience the incredible diversity of our living Native American culture.

This year, we’re featuring two fabulous headliners. Rock out with seven-time Native American MusicAward winner Keith Secola, Anishinabe (Ojibwa), a cross between Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen, and the Ganondagan debut of the ultimate Native Blues Duo, Twice as Good (Pomo of the Elem Indian Colony) from California.

 

 

 

                                                    

 

GanondamanYou’ll also find our ever-popular Iroquois Social Dancers, traditional hoop dancers, fascinating Native American Arts Market, Native foods, Iroquois storytelling, guided trail and longhouse tours, and much more. Don’t miss new hands- on fun in the Family Discovery Tent. Kids of all ages can mold “Ganonda-man” clay totems, discover the fascinating history of the Six Nations clans through storytelling and related animal crafts, participate in a “Ganonda-man” scavenger hunt and lots more. Make sure to include us as a highlight in your Rochester festival season! 

Festival hours run from 10 am – 6 pm
Tickets are available at the event: $12/adults; $10/seniors (62+); $7/students with ID (18+); $5/children (3-18); FREE for Friends of Ganondagan members and children 2 and under. 

New member sign-ups at the festival enjoy FREE admission. An added bonus for all Friends of Ganondagan members is FREE, year-round admittance to the Seneca Art & Culture Center, opening Fall 2015.


FREE festival parking is available at Fireman’s Field off Maple Avenue in Victor with free shuttle bus service from 9:45 am to 6:00 pm on both days between the parking area and festival grounds. Handicapped parking is available at the Historic Site, and on-site Shuttle Service is available if needed. All performances in the Main Tent have sign language interpreters.
